The 2022 iteration of the trend saw an increase in popularity. In the latest craze, “I will never forget you,” users created a TikTok featuring a 12- to 15-year-old target audience that they intended to portray as foolish. The background music for the videos was “Never forget you,” a song by MNEK and Zara Larsson.

By conveying the message “I will never forget you” to the person they thought was an idiot, people created these TikTok films. That was made funnier by the song “Never forget you.” The implication was that the individual in the video will soon pass away because stupid only live to be young teenagers.
